Right now I am watching Michael Jackson's memorial service in California at the Staple Center. I can not get over what an amazing legacy Michael Jackson is leaving behind and the people he has touched throughout his lifetime. In my perspective he is a really successful person because of him so many people's lives have been changed and touched.
I can only hope that one day I can be a part of successful person like Michael Jackson was.

Mother Teresa......
This past week I had the opportunity to travel to Dallas Texas for Kappa Phi's National Conference. It was so amazing and we had the opportunity to hear two amazing speakers. One was Susan Conroy, she spoke about her journey walking and working with Mother Teresa. It was so great to hear her talk and explain the love that she has for all people.
Side note --- I can not get how LOVE has been coming up in the topic of messages I have been hearing. It started at the youth conference I hosted at Living Word Church when Jon Scott explained how love is like a cross.
Susan explained how Mother Teresa would say 'Welcome anyone with hearts of love and hands willing to serve.' She also said that Mother Teresa always started with Prayer. She than shared how Mother Teresa said that the greatest illness today is loneliness....being unloved, unwanted, alone, etc
So LOVE is a huge word. God tells us in the Bible we should love all people as we love ourselves. How can someone always love a person especially when people our not perfect. I have really been thinking about how I can love all people. My heart is full of love for and my hands our ready to serve. These last few years I have been strengthening my love for people. How do you love a roommate that gets 'under your skin' because they do not clean up after them self and leave dirty dishes, trash, and they have food in the refrigerator with mold on it. I learning how to be slow to react, but inside I am screaming because I think it is so disrespectful. I am also trying to figure out how a person can live like this. I can understand if they do something once or twice but I do not understand how someone can do something continuous for months to years. Also I do not understand how a person will not take responsibility for their own actions. So back to love....it is hard, but if God tells us to love and lately the messages I have been hearing also talk about love than maybe people need to learn how to love. I am not talking about loving pizza or reading, but instead I am talking about LOVE --Loving the way Jesus loved..
I believe Mother Teresa understood what it meant to love like Jesus loved so maybe it is time we start a new REVIVAL called LOVE.
So if you do not know how to Love than ask God to help you with loving all people, and he will. I hope that you were encouraged as I was listening to Susan. I will keep you posted on how I deal with loving all people.
But for now Be Bless and Remember to look to him for the answers.
